Description
Christmas cards capturing crisp winter sunshine in British landscapes. A series of evocative watercolour designs reproduce greetings card designs by Berkshire artist Frank Neville Sherwin (1896-1986), from the archives of The Medici Society. Images include ‘Snowy High Street’, 1952; ‘Snow in the Valley’, 1949; and ‘The Winding Track’, 1949. Sherwin is best-known for his idyllic, scenic paintings, which became railway posters for the British Rail.
