Brilliant Bees Jigsaw

With over 250 bee species across the British Isles, the design focuses on the variety of bumblebees which can be seen buzzing in gardens and countryside; from the biggest, Red-Tailed Cuckoo and Southern Cuckoo Bumblees; to the smallest, Brown-banded Carder Bee and Forest Cuckoo Bumblebee. While some are common, many have, sadly, become rare and threatened by habitat loss. Each illustration includes the Latin and common name for the species so that you can learn to spot specific species. Reproducing a charming watercolour design by Kent-born contemporary artist Fiona Osbaldstone; the bee illustrations are set against a meadow background with nectar-rich flowers, such as bird's foot trefoil, field poppies, and buttercups.
