Description
A jigsaw puzzle to celebrate tea time with an original illustration by contemporary artist Christine de Carvalho. A cacophony of tea time crockery, inspired by 18th century, Victorian and 20th century shapes and patterns. Featuring designs inspired by dainty Limoges tea cups and the exquisite ‘Cobalt Net’ pattern from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, thought to be based on a service for Catherine the Great; to whimsical Staffordshire shaped-teapots and bright, enamelled toleware. Naming over 20 types of herbal, black and fruit teas, tisanes and sweeteners; from Darjeeling and Oolong to Chamomile, Earl Grey, and Jasmine – the jigsaw even includes a Dolly Parton-inspired ‘Cup of Ambition'. A challenging design of irregular pieces also includes 20 over-size, whimsy shapes which nestle within the design.

I have not seen the jigsaws that I can get from Museum Selection anywhere else. I give them to a friend of mine who enjoys them so much as the subjects are so different, being more "subject based" rather than "scene based". They are delightful.
