Come rain or shine, the classic Land Rover remains an enduring favourite in motoring history and icon of the countryside with its four-wheel drive, off-road capabilities. Launched in 1948, the versatile design of British engineer Maurice Wilks (1904-63), the Land Rover soon gained an iconic status. Build your own c.26cm x 12cm model with a fun 402-piece kit recalling the original ‘Mechanics Made Easy’ system patented by Frank Hornby in 1901 (later becoming ‘Meccano’). The perfect construction kit to keep you busy!
