Description
Our bold Bauhaus Printed Cushion captures the iconic design and colours of modernist movements in the early-twentieth century. Recreating hand drawn artwork exclusively designed for Museum Selection, highlighting the painterly brush strokes and water marks of the artist. The vivid linear design has been created in a distinctive, contrasting palette referencing the experimentation with colour among artists and designers during this period. The printed cotton cushion echoes the bright colours and clean lines of the German Bauhaus school which flourished from 1919-33. Bauhaus makers and creatives produced visionary designs, grounded in the principle of creating 'total' works of art.
