Description
An ode to summer, the seasonal design of this tapestry wall art is based on 'The Seasons: Summer’, 1896, a coloured lithograph produced by Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939). A prolific Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist, Mucha lived in Paris during the Art Nouveau period and is best known for his distinctly stylised and decorative theatrical posters. Depicting 'Summer' as a nymph-esque woman with allegorical detail, this tapestry wall hanging captures the spirit of Mucha's celebrated artwork.

Very well made item. Arrived quickly and strongly packed. The description as in the catalogue but darker than expected and unfortunately, it did not look right in the space it was ordered for. I tried hard to find another place to display it, without success so regretfully I must return this beautifully item.
