Founded in 2002, Museum Selection offers seasonal collections inspired by history and the arts. Choosing and commissioning home accessories, clothing, furniture, jewellery, gifts and cards from independent suppliers, we have carefully curated a discerning collection of artful pieces. The Museum Selection logo appears to the right in a smart upper-case white font against a plain navy blue background. The word MUSEUM appears above SELECTION separated by a narrow line.
We are proud to work with 17 leading museums and galleries in Britain and beyond, bringing you unique products that tell the stories of periods in history. Through these collaborations we’re able to help the respective organisations and institutions, with every purchase sustaining a rich and noteworthy heritage.
We have wholeheartedly adopted the Arts and Crafts philosophy set out by William Morris to 'have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful'. Taking inspiration from country house interiors and gardens, museum collections and our great cathedrals, our aim is to bring together a distinctive and unusual collection celebrating over a thousand years of history, art and design.
Working closely with our suppliers, we are passionate about our prices and quality, utilising traditional skills and craftsmanship wherever possible to keep time-honoured techniques alive and thriving. Many of our products are made exclusively for Museum Selection and are limited production, offering the opportunity to invest in specialty pieces that are not widely available.
We work with the following museums and galleries:
  • Bletchley Park Trust
  • Exeter Cathedral
  • Imperial War Museums
  • Lincoln Cathedral
  • London Transport Museum
  • Met Office
