Description
For elegant outdoor lighting after dusk, create a magical ambience with the addition of this Solar LED Flower Lantern. The design of this lantern reflects the eye-catching style of ornate Victorian garden ornamentation, finished with an antiqued brass effect. Inspired by a fairy glen, the pretty LED flowers string lights cast a soft glow, while the lantern is decorated with cut-out butterflies and foliate detailing. This garden lantern is powered by a solar panel that charges by day and illuminates at night. Please note natural weathering will occur over time when left outside.

I charged this up first by leaving it in the sunny conservatory all day, and it worked beautifully as soon as it got dark. It's very pretty and is well-represented by the catalogue image. Bought it as a present for a friend, which I think she will like very much - it's perfect to leave in a summer garden, or in a room which is sunny in the day and dark in the evening, such as a conservatory. (It's important to realise that it only works in darkness - if you switch a light on, the lamp will turn off until it's dark again. I think this could be why some reviewers have thought it didn't work). It comes in a functional cardboard box with solid polystyrene packing - I took it out to test it, and put it into a gift bag instead.
