Description

National Museums of ScotlandStriking costume scarf clip with faux stones based on a detail from the Hunterston brooch, now in the National Museums of Scotland collection. Created by a skilled craftsman familiar with Anglo-Saxon, Irish and Irish-Scottish techniques of decorative metalwork, it was probably made c. 700 AD at a royal site such as Dunadd, Argyll. Bring an element of art and history to all your favourite scarves.
