Winter Poinsettia Candle

Smartly printed candle decorated with the poinsettia, the bold scarlet bloom that became a festive favourite after its introduction to the United States from Mexico in the 1820s by the American diplomat Joel Roberts Poinsett (1779–1851), after whom the plant is named. Its star-shaped red bracts, easily mistaken for petals, proved a natural match for the season's established red-and-green colour palette, and the poinsettia has remained one of the most recognisable symbols of Christmas ever since. Its rich seasonal colour brings warmth to any winter setting, and it pairs perfectly with our matching red glass holder. A lovely gift or decorative choice for anyone who loves rich, traditional festive colour.
