Description
Pewter mantel clock draws inspiration from Archibald Knox (1864–1933), a visionary of the Art Nouveau movement whose designs for Liberty & Co.’s Tudric and Cymric ranges epitomised modern elegance. Cast using traditional techniques, the clock features hand-enamelled details and faux cabochon stones, echoing Knox’s fusion of Celtic motifs with flowing organic lines. Produced in Birmingham by A.E. Williams, established in 1779, it reflects Britain’s enduring metalwork heritage and the early 20th-century pursuit of beauty in functional objects.

It is too small for a mantle piece clock. Could be bigger.
