Description
Carved using semi-precious unakite, this handmade gemstone fishing bear echoes similar Russian hardstone 'objects de vertu' created by the illustrious Fabergé workshop for the imperial Romanov court. Following this precedent, King Edward VII of England commissioned the studio to copy all the animals found at Sandringham as a gift for his wife, Queen Alexandra. Created with a natural stone, the colour of each Carved Unakite Fishing Bear will vary and each ornament will be unique.
