Description
Made in a traditional manner in Murano, our glass beads are fused with metal leaf and combined with gold-plated beads and fittings. Murano's reputation as a centre for glassmaking was born when the Venetian Republic, fearing fire and destruction to the city's mostly wood buildings, ordered glassmakers to move their foundries to Murano in 1291.

Well, it was a gift for my mum, She chose it. I was a bit skeptical. It looked a bit garish and I thought it would be flimsy. However when my mum received it, She LOVED it, and showed it to me against the items she would wear it with, and it looked really good! It was also more well made and sturdier than I thought it would be.
