Oak & Willow Pouch Toiletry Gift Set

William Morris At Home gift set in soft velvet, printed with a modern recolour of 'Oak & Willow', a design by John Henry Dearle (1859–1932) for Morris & Co., dating from around 1880 to 1890, the period in which Dearle, having joined the firm as a young apprentice, was steadily rising to become one of William Morris's (1834–1896) most trusted design assistants ahead of taking over as chief designer following Morris's death in 1896. Lined in linen and cotton, the drawstring pouch holds three travel-sized hand creams and a guest soap, scented with clementine and clove for a festive touch. Lovely present idea for any admirer of Morris & Co.'s enduring pattern heritage.
