Description
A trio of family-friendly card games: Chorking Jollux!: you are sure to be ‘gorgonized’ and ‘jargogled’ with a hysterically funny, ‘Call My Bluff’-type of game where players must guess the meaning of now-defunct English words, choosing from three choices of meaning. With the correct answers highlighted, can the quizzer mislead or confound? Some words are ‘Jokers’, which are fictitious so if you can spot those then the higher the reward. Old Maid: with whimsical, early-20th century illustrations play this old-fashioned but fun card game of matching as many couples as possible. Shuffle the deck and deal the cards; make as many pairs as you can before then offering cards to fellow players. Match Lord and Lady Toff, Mr and Mrs Chalk the teachers, Mr and Mrs Chop the shepherds, and more. But beware, the player left holding the ‘Old Maid’ card loses. Flag Match: a memory game with a difference. Take turns to turn over and then recall where you saw the pair to make 27 matching flags. Each pairing of cards is illustrated with the name of a global country, the flag, a population statistic and name of the capital city. Learn as match and test your powers of recall in this fun-to-play card game.

Service Rating:
Easy games for young children. Make jolly good stocking. fillers. Grannies will enjoy them too, teaching the little ones what they remember playing when they were little. Nicely illustration too.
