Mini Tractor Construction Kit

A stainless-steel construction kit to create your own miniature model of the classic agricultural workhorse: the tractor. The first petrol-powered tractor was built in 1889 but British engineer Dan Albone’s ‘Ivel Agricultural Motor’ of 1903 is often considered the first of the modern tractors which revolutionised 20th century farming. Build a c.14cm long model, perfect to display on a shelf or desk. The stainless steel plates, nuts and bolts-construction style recalls the original ‘Mechanics Made Easy’ system patented by Frank Hornby in 1901 (later becoming ‘Meccano’) so makes a great nostalgic gift for anyone who grew up with similar kits.
