Mini Front Loader Construction Kit

A stainless-steel construction kit to create your own miniature model of a farm and construction site workhorse: the Front Loader, or Wheel Loader. Evolving from attachments for tractors, the first dedicated loader was the Model H.S. Payloader which boasted a hydraulic bucket and was invented in 1939 by Frank G. Hough (1890-1965). Build a c.11.5cm long model, perfect to display on a shelf or desk. The stainless-steel plates, nuts and bolts-construction style recalls the original ‘Mechanics Made Easy’ system patented by Frank Hornby in 1901 (later becoming ‘Meccano’) so makes a great nostalgic gift for anyone who grew up with similar kits.
