Flower Seed Packets Jigsaw

A delightful jigsaw puzzle to keep ‘green fingers’ busy when not planting or pricking out seedlings. Reproducing a colourful painting by Kent-based contemporary artist Fiona Osbaldstone, the engaging design presents a potting bench-full of pretty spring and summer flowers in jaunty seed packets; mixing cottage garden favourites such as sweet peas, hollyhocks, and poppy with wildflowers, irises and fuchsia. Becoming increasingly fashionable in the later 19th century, the billowing, mixed flowerbeds associated with the cottage garden style was popularised by garden greats such as William Robinson (1838-1935) and Gertrude Jekyll (1843-1932). Presented in a space-saving box and plastic-free packaging, puzzlers will also enjoy spotting a Peacock and Small Tortoiseshell butterfly, a ladybird, a trowel and gardening gloves mixed within the design.
