Description
‘…April brings the primrose sweet, Scatters daisies at our feet./ May brings flocks of pretty lambs, Skipping by their fleecy dams. / June brings tulips, lilies, roses, Fills the children's hands with posies.’, from ‘The Garden Year’ by Sara Coleridge (1802-52)
Spend a year in the garden with an atmospheric circular jigsaw puzzle, capturing the seasons and key month-by-month tasks of the gardening year in a painterly design by contemporary artist Claire Comerford. From January snowdrops and winter plant pot-washing, to fledgling birds taking flight and planting summer bedding in May and June; through to deadheading summer roses and admiring autumnal fruit and jewel-like dahlias in October. Full of colourful flora and fauna, the twelve segments of the circular shape are formed from 500 pieces: a perfect design to make when time is short or when you want to invite collaboration around a table. Made in Britain using recycled materials, the sustainable jigsaw will bring the joys of the garden indoors, whatever the weather.
