Painterly montages, reproducing exotic details of Japanese, Chinese and Mughal art and specimens. Drawn from the superlative printed collections of the British Museum and the British Library. Includes woodblock prints by Japanese printmaker Kitagawa Utamaro (1753-1806), miniatures from the Dara Shikoh album c.1630-40, and 'The Cabinet of Oriental Entomology’ published 1848.
