Welbeck Folding Trellis

Hinged steel trellis inspired by the wrought-iron designs of Ernest Gimson, a leading figure of the Arts and Crafts movement whose work celebrated naturalistic motifs, structural honesty and handcrafted beauty. Gimson’s metalwork often incorporated flowing stems, stylised leaves and harmonious curves, expressing his belief that even architectural details should reflect nature’s logic. This trellis, usable flat or in a corner, echoes those principles through its elegant arches and sturdy construction, offering a versatile way to support climbing plants while honouring early-20th-century craftsmanship.
