The chair is a very pleasing shape, seen from all angles, and the colour is a pleasant honey brown colour. I didn't want anything too dark that would loom, so I am very pleased that it doesn't. It does need a cushion to sit on - unless you are very well upholstered - but you can ring the changes with whatever cushions take your fancy. It was also important to me to be able to pick the chair up and move it around relatively easily, and that has proved the case, despite the fact that I am not far removed from the Government's "vulnerable elderly category".
