Sarouk Medallions Rug

Elegant rug reinterpreting the soft blues and ochres typical of 19th-century Sultanabad and Sarouk carpets exported from Persia to Europe. These intricate medallion patterns became highly desirable in Western drawing rooms, admired for their craftsmanship and rich symbolism, and were frequently featured in late Victorian and Edwardian homes.
