Woven tapestry cushion with a songbird perched among flowering branches within a decorative floral border, inspired by the central importance of natural motifs to the Arts and Crafts movement, whose leading figures, above all William Morris, believed that the close observation of birds, plants and the living natural world was the indispensable foundation of all vital decorative design, a conviction rooted in their deep study of medieval tapestry and illumination. It is filled with a soft inner pad and finished with a concealed zip. A richly decorative accent for a sofa, armchair or reading corner.
