Description
Metal touch lamp Evoking 'Autumn Landscape' by Ralph Albert Blakelock (1847–1919), attractive and practical lamp that turns off and on by a single or double tap to its base. Blakelock was one of the most poetic and tragic figures of American painting, largely self-taught, he developed a deeply personal nocturnal style marked by luminous moonlit skies filtered through silhouetted trees, influenced by the Hudson River School's reverence for the natural world yet entirely his own in mood and mystery. The lamp has a metal base with a metal and PVC shade, measures 34 x 16cm, and comes with a 1.43m flex, requiring 1 x E14 40W bulb, not supplied. A characterful addition to a reading corner or bedside, bringing a gentle, contemplative glow to the room.

This lamp is beautiful, and is the perfect size to be effective yet unobtrusive. I disagree with other reviewers who said it’s really small, the dimensions are on the item details on the website and are accurate.
