Description
The game is afoot' with a jigsaw puzzle celebrating the cryptic world of Sherlock Holmes. Piece together the design and spot 50 famous characters, crime-solving clues and historical figures inspired by the era and 60 stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930) starring Sherlock Holmes. From the hound near Baskerville Hall and the Diogenes Club, to Moriarty, Dr. Watson, Mycroft, and many more fictional clues, places and characters. Plus historical figures from the era of the novels, including Prime Minister William Gladstone (1809-98), and Conan Doyle’s literary friend Jerome K. Jerome (1859-1927). Use the poster included to identify the characters and locations and explore the roles they played. A contemporary jigsaw designed by London-based illustrator, Doug John Miller, with annotations by author Nicholas Utechin (1952-2022), an Honorary member of The Sherlock Holmes Society of London.
