Description
Set of four scented sachets artfully reproduces colour plates from 'The Artistic Language of Flowers', a publication by G. Routledge & Sons from 1888. Each sachet features a distinct floral design: rose, violet, forget-me-not, and cornflower, each carrying its own symbolic meaning as part of the Victorian tradition of floriography, where flowers conveyed specific sentiments. The sachets are filled with organic materials and fragranced with oils from Grasse, renowned for its rich heritage in perfume production.

A lovely present for my older friends, but rather highly scented, although I did like the floral poems accompanying the sachets of pot pourri.

They will be a gift for a teenager's wardrobe, but I have tried them. Lovely scents, strong enough to last for years until they faint away. In my view, the fragrances are not sickly sweet or too artificial. Each paper sachet is wrapped individually in plastic, so the smells did not mix to much before I received the parcel.
