‘But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight— “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”’, ‘A Visit from St Nicholas’
Charming Christmas cards capturing the excitement and wonder of the much-loved Christmas poem ‘A Visit from St Nicholas’ in six characterful illustrations by acclaimed American artist Jessie Willcox Smith (1863-1935). Attributed to American Professor and author Clement Clarke Moore (1779-1863), the poem was first published anonymously in 1823. Better known as ‘The Night Before Christmas’, the illustrations reproduce a selection of the illustrations accompanying key scenes from a 1912 edition of the poem in the collection of the New York Public Library.

to be used , they are Christmas cards after all, but beautifully produced retro images.

I love these cards. Always read the book to my daughters on Christmas Eve. The cards are just like the book illustrations. I’ll enjoy giving them to my family and friends.
