Pack of 14 Gilded Butterflies Cards

Exquisite greetings cards decorated with gilded butterflies, elegant garlands and set against a deep blue background which emulates a gold-tooled leather book binding. Originally created by luxury atelier Bayntun-Riviere as a decorative binding for a 1920s edition of Hans Christian Andersen’s ‘Fairy Tales’, the motifs have been adapted to frame these elegant cards, each highlighted with glistening gold foil. Printed on a smooth-finish, uncoated board, the greetings cards are a pleasure to write upon and take ink beautifully. With a co-ordinating gift box and convenient self-sealing ivory envelopes, the cards are as lovely to send as to receive.
