Description
An atmospheric collection of greetings cards, capturing the sights and colours of spring in the countryside. Spanning 19th and 20th century imagery, the cards reproduce a mix of landscapes, wildlife and figurative art. The designs include ‘Girl Picking Apple Blossom’, 1879, by Winslow Homer (1836-1910); ‘The Spring of Life’, 1866, by Frederick Walker (1840-75); ‘Spring Morning’ by Muriel Dawson (1897-1974); ‘Spring Landscape with Magnolias’, 1954, by Michael Reilly (b.1898); and 'At Luccombe, Isle of Wight - with blossom', by William Stephen Coleman (1829-1904). Evocative images to send with your warmest spring greetings.
