Mixing art from the 17th to 20th centuries, diverse images includes ‘A Picnic at Richmond Hill’, 1828-29, by Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851); a print from 'Des Chats', 1898, by Théophile Alexandre Steinlen (1859-1923); 'A Magnolia', by Mark Catesby (1683-1749) from 'Hortus Europe Americanus', 1767; a detail from an illuminated miniature in the Dara Shikoh Album, c.1630-40; 'View inside a cake shop', illustration by Eric Ravilious (1903-42) for 'High Street', 1938; and ‘Gravesend Airport’, a cover illustration for 'Popular Flying', October 1932.
