Description
Greetings cards showcasing verdant gardens and colourful flowers: a favourite subject of the art of Impressionist master Claude Monet (1840-1926). The paintings reflect the development of Monet’s Impressionist technique: from the more solid colours seen in 'Lady in the Garden', and, 'Garden at Sainte-Addresses', both painted 1867; to the looser brushwork of 'Rounded Flower Bed' (‘Corbeille de fleurs’), 1876. Plus sun-filled details from 'The Artist's House at Argenteuil', 1873, and 'The Artist's Garden at Vétheuil', 1881. Perfect cards to send sunshine and cheer throughout the year.
