Christmas cards reproducing tender and exquisite images by the Czech artist best-known as Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939). Based in Paris, Mucha’s pioneering style and work in posters and print media made his signature Art Nouveau style both accessible and influential. Reproducing a beautiful depiction of festive poinsettias from ‘Ruby’, part of ‘The Precious Stones’ series of prints from 1900; and a frozen-scene with an ice-bound lily from ‘Spring’, 1897.
