Exquisite cards which reproduce a colourful calendar page for August 1924 by Leo Visser (Dutch, 1880-1950). Now in the collection of the Rijksmuseum, the brightly-coloured-design includes a stylised deer, fox, monkey and tropical birds perched within exotic foliage. To heighten the dramatic effect, the cards include luxurious gold foil details to highlight the creatures and foliage with shimmering accents.
