10 Christmas Classics Cards

Decorative Christmas cards which simulate decorative bindings of festive literary favourites. With die-cut details around the tops of the books and intricate gold foil embellishments to the spines, the cards celebrate the seasonal stories which have become timeless tales, read and enjoyed by all ages each Christmas season. A contemporary illustration includes Charles Dickens’ much-loved 'A Christmas Carol', first published 1843; 'The Snow Queen' and 'The Fir Tree', both original fairy tales by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, first published 1844; 'The Night Before Christmas', the popular name given to Clement Clarke Moore's poem 'A Visit from St. Nicholas', c.1823-37; and 'The Nutcracker', by Alexandre Dumas, published in 1844 but itself a retelling of E.T.A. Hoffmann's 1816 short story ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’, later becoming the popular ballet in 1892. A wonderfully whimsical design to delight bookworms near and far.
