Description
Our childhood teddy bears will always hold a place in our hearts as our first loyal companion. Teddy bears were developed in both America and Germany at the turn of the century with Steiff famously exhibiting the toy at the Leipzig Toy Fair in March 1903. Stuffed with character, this hand-crafted bear is dressed in wool Harris Tweed woven in the outer Hebrides of Scotland. The bear was smaller than expected ,clothes well made and good quality however the bear fur looked old and thin and Amanda and Julie from the Repair Shop would not have been happy with teddies nose it is off centre but still happy to have in my collection but did feel it was overpriced .

For £13 did not expect such a skinny and small bear. OK if you had shown the height in English, i.e. inches I would have realised the picture was false. The item received is such a poor representation of the picture shown. Even just looking at where the peak of the cap is from the bear's eyes in the picture, it looks about 2 to 3 inches. On the actual bear received, the gap is about one quarter of an
inch !!! In fact all aspects of the size are reduced accordingly, from the picture shown. Not happy at all.
