Strawberry Thief Pen Duo

A striking set of two ballpoint pens in two contrasting colourways, reproducing William Morris’s (1834-96) ‘Strawberry Thief’, 1881. Matching the box, the blue colourway pen echoes the indigo of the original design; paired with a contrasting red-and-off white colourway the pens make a handsome complementary set. Inspired by watching thrushes stealing fruit from his kitchen garden at Kelmscott Manor, ‘Strawberry Thief’ became one of Morris’s best-known and much-loved designs, which was offered as textiles and wallpaper in an array of colour choices. Presented in a co-ordinating gift box, the comfortable, gold-tone pens feature a convenient click mechanism and smooth-flowing black ink. The pens complement our Strawberry Thief Memo Cube.
