Description
A set of two ballpoint pens presented in an elegant, co-ordinating gift box with a luxurious arabesque pattern in gold foil. Decorated with an opulent contemporary design of egrets and tropical foliage, recalling details from exquisite hand-painted Chinese wallpapers which became popular in Chinoiserie decoration schemes of the 18th century. Egrets have long been associated with the qualities of patience and perseverance in Chinese art; while Christian symbolism attributes piety and purity to the white plumage. Set against a smart navy-blue background and with gold-tone trim, the repeating pattern of egrets around the pen barrels makes note-taking a pleasure. Tactile and convenient, the pens feature a click mechanism and smooth-flowing black ink.

It never arrived as it was 'out of stock and cannot now be ordered' although I was not told this when I placed the order. A rather frustrating process and not really deserving a single star.
