Liberty Prospect Road Paint by Numbers

A colourful paint-by-numbers kit to create your own canvas masterpiece, reproducing one of Liberty’s most popular textile designs: ‘Prospect Road’. Designed in 1968 by Bernard Nevill (1930-2019), the design’s jewel-like colours and stylised curving shapes recall the Art Nouveau influence of Vittorio Zecchin (1878-1947) and Art Deco potter Clarice Cliff’s (1899-1972) ‘Fantasque Bizarre’ ranges. A great gift for budding artist, the kit includes a board-backed canvas pre-printed with golden ink outlines and numbered blocks of colour to match with the paint guide. The paint colours have been meticulously matched to recreate Liberty’s original palette. Use the three increasingly fine-tip brushes to add the colour in blocks and details to see a stylised forest landscape emerge beneath your fingers. With areas for broad strokes and very fine detail, the painting process will take time and offers a soothing, meditative creative outlet. Water soluble, non-toxic paints make clean-up a breeze and, when complete, simply prop or add a frame of your own to display the completed painting.
