Gold Foiled Chocolate Crème Bears

Delicious foil-wrapped milk chocolate bears presented in a cardboard box with ribbon, reflecting the tradition of novelty chocolate figures popular in British confectionery from the early twentieth century onward. Figural chocolate of this kind flourished as manufacturing techniques improved, allowing chocolatiers to mould increasingly detailed characters and animals that brought an element of playfulness and surprise to festive gift-giving, a tradition that remains as popular with children today as it was a century ago. Charming in a stocking or on the tree, these bears make a delightful Christmas treat for any chocolate lover.
