Sitting Gargoyle Ornament

Reconstituted stone ornament recalling the grotesques of 13th-century ecclesiastical architecture, where carved guardians with exaggerated features served both symbolic and moral purposes. Large listening ears, in particular, embodied the medieval virtue of attentiveness and spiritual readiness.
