Classic Literature Garden Trio

Set of three petite garden sculptures inspired by the illustrations of Beatrix Potter (1866–1943), whose gently humorous, finely observed animal characters remain treasures of the Edwardian children's book. Potter, a keen amateur naturalist and mycologist before she turned to writing, brought real scientific observation to her illustrations, first self-publishing 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit' in 1901 before Frederick Warne & Co. issued it commercially the following year, beginning a series that has enchanted readers for well over a century. Tom Kitten, Benjamin Bunny and Jeremy Fisher make enchanting companions tucked among the borders or pots. Charming for any lover of classic children's literature or an English cottage garden.
