Avebury Gothic Bench

Steel bench inspired by the curling tracery and pointed motifs of the Gothic Revival, a movement that reintroduced medieval forms into 19th-century domestic and public design. As Victorians sought spiritual meaning and moral beauty in craftsmanship, ecclesiastical patterns migrated into ironwork for garden seating, verandas and park railings. Quatrefoils, elongated arches and foliate curls evoked the dignity of cathedral stonework while offering decorative flourish. Finished in an aged charcoal grey, this bench brings a touch of medieval character and Victorian sentiment to outdoor settings.
