Morris Larkspur Outdoor Watering Can

Powder-blue galvanised steel watering can printed with William Morris’s ‘Larkspur’ design (1872–75), a pattern that expresses Morris’s belief that useful objects should also enrich the home through artistry rooted in nature. Mixing roses, larkspur, and elegant medievalising foliage, the design embodies the Arts and Crafts ideal of balanced, stylised natural forms. With a fixed handle at the side and a folding carry-handle at the top, the can is comfortable to carry and tip. Simply fill at the top and the fixed watering rose delivers the water where you pour it. Able to hold up to 5 litres (c.1 gallon), the watering can is a manageable size for frequent watering or smaller spaces. Made in sturdy galvanised steel, the durable powder-coated finish is a soft, powder blue shade and will look smart next to taps and water butts with a classic shape.
