Morris Garden Twine Tin

A useful tin of twine to keep at hand and avoid tangles, whether tying in plants in the garden or securing items in the home. Decorated with a smart printed detail of William Morris’s (1834-96) ‘Snakeshead’ wallpaper design from 1876. Presented in a rich burgundy and cream colourway, the pattern is a celebration of the snake’s head fritillary; the dainty, nodding heads of which Morris saw in the water meadows of the Thames Valley. Supplied with sustainable, biodegradable jute twine, simply draw the string through the hole in the top of the tin’s lid. The lift-off lid is easy to remove when you wish to re-fill it.
