Lightly quilted cotton jacket evoking the trailing ‘Honeysuckle’ and ‘Pimpernel’ floral designs of Morris & Co., founded in 1861. Smart edge-to-edge panelled design with piped detailing, 2 front pockets, reversing to pretty blue bud print. Morris & co. was founded by William Morris (1834-1896) a key figure in the arts & crafts movement who was influenced by nature and known for using traditional techniques.

This is such a beautiful jacket, the fabric is lovely, the jacket is beautifully made - just what I wanted, and is thoroughly ruined by the lack of thickness of the garment, it seems to have no substance and will probably be like a rag after a few cleanings ,it has little or no padding in the quilting, for this quality the price tag at £85. plus postage seems a little steep.
