The Turing Trust
A fiendish collection of 240 code-breaking puzzles, published in association with The Turing Trust. Celebrating the love of puzzles shared by codebreaker and father of modern computing Alan Turing (1912-54), you’ll be tested with five puzzle sections, each increasing in difficulty. You must first tease out – from the title and puzzle introduction – what the rules are for each puzzle and to then try to unravel it. Set by over ten puzzle-makers, specialising in devious and cryptic challenges, the book also includes a section of at least one hint for each puzzle. Turn to this if you get stuck for a hint on how to proceed. With a compelling and entertaining variety of puzzles you’ll improve your puzzle solving and gain an insight into the inspirational minds of Bletchley Park’s codebreakers.
