An elegant set of eight-pens, each cleverly constructed from sheets of rolled paper which reproduce plate 118 from ‘The Birds of America’ by revered artist and ornithologist John James Audubon (1785-1851). Having observed the species, and written of its charming song, the illustration ‘Warbling Flycatcher’, 1831, captures a pair of birds in a magnolia setting. Made from rolls of paper and with lift-off caps, the tactile pens have an unusually soft and lightweight feeling when penning notes and letters. Presented in smart, slimline box with a magnetic side flap.
