Description
A striking memo cube, complete with a useful drawer, decorated with a sunflower-filled detail from Gustav Klimt’s (1862-1918) painting ‘Farm Garden with Sunflowers’, 1913. Klimt painted many of his landscapes while holidaying on the shores of Attersee in Austria. The floral view reflects a jewel-like intensity of colour and flattened perspective, echoing the influence of Rinpa school Japanese prints which fascinated the artist. The memo cube includes a shimmery, gold flip-up lid and contains 400 sheets of memo paper: a perfect companion for notes throughout the year.
