Description
Dramatic Christmas cards capturing characters from the much-loved ballet ‘The Nutcracker’, first performed in 1892. Supplied flat for posting, the ingenious design is made from 5 laser-cut layers. Simply press the sides together and a shadowbox scene pops up from flat. Featuring Clara, the Nutcracker, enchanted toys and fairies from the Land of Sweets. The ballet was adapted from the earlier story: ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’ by German author E.T.A. Hoffmann (1776-1822). This festive card includes space to write a message on the back.
